Celebrity Jersey Cards #670 Nicole Kidman & Kate Upton

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys.

Australian-American actress Nicole Kidman was actually born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has won many awards and accolades, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA, two Primetime Emmys, and six Golden Globes. She was married to Tom Cruise for a while, but is now married to country singer Keith Urban. That explains her multiple appearances at Nashville Predators games. I think more singers attend Predators games than Los Angeles Lakers games or it's close. In either case, Kidman gets a Celebrity Jersey Card for her fandom through marriage.

Born in Michigan, Kate Upton gained fame as a model, including appearances in Sports Illustrated. As a native of the Wolverine state, married to legendary Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, you'd think Upton would rep a Red Wings jersey. Instead, for her Celebrity Jersey Card, Upton donned the jersey of the New York Rangers, an Original Six rival.
