Celebrity Jersey Cards #693 Brian Agler & Ernie Kent

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing jerseys. Today, I start a season-long march alphabetically through all MLB teams.

Born in Ohio, Brian Agler played college basketball at Wittenburg before embarking on a lengthy coaching career. Staring at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1988, Agler spent three decades coaching. He was coach of the WNBA Seattle Storm from 2008-14, followed by stints coaching the Los Angeles Sparks and Dallas Wings. He is now the Athletic Director at Wittenburg. His son, Bryce, coached under him in Los Angeles. Agler showed good form in tossing a ceremonial pitch for the Seattle Mariners and earned his Celebrity Jersey Card.

A native of Rockford, Illinois, Ernie Kent starred at Oregon, before he started his basketball coaching career. His most recent stint was coaching Washington State 2014-2019. Perhaps more importantly, he has done great work in his community and with charities, earning the 2004 Hope Award from the Oregon Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, among other honors. I won't compare a Celebrity Jersey Card with that, but in the Johngy's Beat universe, it is highly regarded. LOL
