Friend Encounters is a weekly series featuring friends meeting celebrities.
Today is another chapter of the Chris M. mystery. Known as Evil Zebra from his days as a ref on the east coast, Chris has met so many celebrities I lose count. Unfortunately, he hasn't really kept notes, nor does he plan on writing a book, although I strongly believe he should and have encouraged him to do so for years.
One of his favorite people was the late Tommy LaSorda, who is from the same area in Pennsylvania as EZ. Fellow Pennsylvanians and Italians, the two struck up a friendship. Since LaSorda died in 2021, EZ claims to be the most famous person from Norristown. It bugs me to admit, I cannot even argue his claim.
