Athletes Unlimited said goodbye to one more player as Peyton St. George retired after last season. St. George was one of six players who announced their retirement.
St. George starred on the mound for Duke University, before playing three seasons with AU. I didn't have a lot of interactions with St. George last season, but she was always great oevr the years.
I want to thank St. George for great play on the field. I wish her good luck in the future. I certainly hope to see her around the ballpark at some point.
