Cards That Never Were: Steve Kuberski Topps 1975-'76, '77-78 & '78-79

Cards That Never Were is a recurring series in which I create virtual trading cards for players missed in various sets. It is a concept I have borrowed from far too many to list, but I appreciate all of their efforts. More of my creations and many great creations of others can be found in the Custom Baseball Cards Facebook group (and not just baseball cards).
After playing college basketball at Bradley, Steve Kuberski was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 4th round of the 1969 NBA draft. After five seasons with the Celtics, the New Orleans Jazz selected him in the 1974 Expansion Draft. He was then traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. After one season with the Bucks, he was claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Braves in October 1975. He played a handful of games with the Braves, before being waived. He signed back with the Celtics. He retired after the 1977-78 season. All told, he played 568 games over nine seasons, averaging 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
For his efforts, Kuberski had cards in '70-'74 and '76. That left three voids. I went to the master Lynn from the FB group to create the '75 card. I created the other two. Kuberski is now complete.
On a side note, Kuberski had a card with the Jazz, although he never played for them, but never had a card for the Braves, because he did not finish the season with them. Topps makes update cards in some sets. I think they should make "midway" cards for players who briefly played for teams, but finished the season with other teams and therefore got cards from the latter.
