The Pride of Mud Lick

Hailing from Mud Lick, KY, a town in the remote Appalachian Mountains, Hillbilly Jim first appeared in the WWF (now the WWE) in 1984. He has appeared on and off in the WWE since then, although never winning any titles. Still, when "Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy" starts to play, you know you are in for a hand-clappin', foot-stompin' good time.
In reality, Jim is actually Jim Morris and he does hail from Mud Lick, KY, only it is Monroe County, not the Appalachian Mountains. Morris entered pro wrestling in 1975 as Harley Davidson, but never achieved real fame until he entered the WWE. Morris has also appeared on Hee Haw on a regular basis. Morris is retired from in-ring action, but does promotional work for the WWE, which is how I met the big guy in 2006.
