Good Guys Wear Black

Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox for winning the American League Central. It was an interesting season for the Sox, but they ended up on top. In honor of this accomplishment, I am featuring a former White Sox player and current coach.
In 2007, Louie Atsaves and I were in Boston for the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) convention on behalf of one of our clients, Global Traveler magazine. Coincidentally, the Chicago White Sox were in town to play the Red Sox.
After taking a tour of Fenway Park, we meandered around while the teams took batting practice. White Sox hitting coach Greg Walker chatted with us briefly. I am a bit conflicted about Walker. Actually, he is a completely likable guy. My problem was he took over for Mike Squires, my all-time favorite White Sox player. I think we mended our fences with the taking of this photo.
