He was Mama's boy Otis and he was one of a kind. Otis Wilson had an excellent career for the Chicago Bears during the 80's. Of course, the highlight would be the 1985 championship. Wilson, Mike Singletary and Wilber Marshall were one of the best linebacker trios I have ever seen. This is when the Bears' defense lived up to the reputation as Monsters of the Midway.I met Wilson at a political fundraiser a few years back. I know...what was Johngy doing at a political fundraiser? Most of the photos were highjacked. The lovely lady guest I mentioned finagled 2 back for me. This one and one with Wayne Messmer which will make an appearance in the future.
