Chanel Ryan is a model, actress, cover girl and host. Ryan is seen everywhere, but most people couldn't tell you her name.
I met Ryan at a Hollywood Collectors Show years ago. One guy actually asked her why he should know who she was...what has she done. I am not here to debate Ryan's level of success, but to go up to a celebrity and ask those questions is just rude.
Was he deciding if she was worth the price for a signed photo? Was he trying to be a jerk? Was he trying to show her up?
She handled it with class by listing a few of her accomplishments and saying that he might want to find someone else more famous if that was his goal. The guy walked off and started talking to the next celeb (no doubt annoying him, too).
I have seen Ryan at several conventions since then. I still can't tell you much of her work, but I can tell you she is pretty popular at conventions and not just with men.

I have previously mentioned a few celebs who were not particularly nice or outgoing at these conventions, but I have seen far more rude fans than rude stars. Sometimes fans think their $20 entitles them to whatever they feel like saying or doing.

Soooooooooooo who the heck is she?
As I wrote, I still cannot recite any of Ms. Ryan's resume. However, just because I don't know her doesn't give me the right to put her on defense. I bypass a lot of celebs at conventions. I never ask them to justify their participation.
