A while ago, I wrote about meeting tv's Lois Lane, Noel Neill. Today, I am highlighting the other famous Lois Lane, Margot Kidder.
Kidder played Lois Lane in the Superman movie series of the 70's and 80's. Years later, she was involved in a serious car crash, which prevented her from working for a couple years. In 1996, she was found wandering in a distressed state, due to her bipolar disorder. Fortunately for Kidder, she has rebounded and is now a fixture on the celebrity circuit.
When I met Kidder at a Hollywood Collectors Show, she seemed a bit unfocused. She was polite and talked a bit, but it seemed like she was a bit distracted. Maybe it was because of medication or her condition. Maybe she was just having a bad day or had other problems on her mind. She is human, too. Unfortunately, due to her past, the inevitable questions will arise.
Her fans were happy to see her and she seemed genuinely happy to see her rather long line of fans.
