Former Bears quarterback Bobby Douglass spent some time in New Orleans. Douglass was the Bears starting quarterback for the better part of his 6 1/2 seasons in Chicago. He might be best known for rushing for a (then) record 968 yards. After leaving the Bears, he played a few games in San Diego, before going to New Orleans for two seasons. He finished his career with a season in Green Bay.
He started several games (splitting time with Bobby Scott) in place of the injured Archie Manning. The Saints were pretty bad back then and Douglass went 3-5 as a starter.
Despite his critics, our current quarterback, Jay Cutler, is the best qb we have had in Chicago in my life. However, I would like to continue seeing Matt Forte do his best impression of Bobby as a rusher!
