Celeb Jersey Cards #83 Stevie Richards & Joe Laurinaitis

This is a regular series which combines my passion for trading cards with my interest in celebs.  Today I am featuring a football wrestling double play (or should that be 'tag team'?).

Michael Manna (aka Stevie Richards) is a favorite of Johngy's BeatWe interviewed him at Wizard World and he appeared in the background of two of our other interviews.  Stevie is gold!   He also has a passion for technology as evident by his site t4show.com.  I guess that includes video games, too.  Stevie posed with an ad for Madden 12 and earned himself a Celebrity Jersey Card.  More good news for Richards, the CJC does not come with a curse like the Madden cover.

When I saw the picture below, I knew it would make for a cool card.  Father and son, Joe and James Laurinaitis exchanged uniforms for the shot.  Actualy, I think either could have excelled at both sports.  At 6'2" and 255 pounds, James would have been a 'ram' in the ring, while the stockier Joe could have been an 'animal' on the football field  (sorry...couldn't resist).  In hindsight, I might want to make another version, to give James a wrestling Celebrity Jersey Card.
