Michael Kingston Puts the Reader in a Headlock!

Professional wrestling and comic boos seem like a natural fit.  Michael kingston apparently thought so.  Kingston is the creator of Headlocked, a comic book based on professional wrestling which debuted in 2007.
The main character is a college student who drops out to pursue a career in pro wrestling.  We get to view wrestling through his eyes.  It is a great story with beautiful graphics created by pro wrestlers, including Jerry "the King" Lawler.
Kingston was very passionate about his creation when I talked to him.  As a creative wrestling fan, he is able to tell a realistic story and an interesting one.  Headlocked was a real hit at Wizard World.  Kingston did a great job of promoting Headlocked to everyone (not just wrestling fans).
