Celebrity Jersey Cards #167 Matt Joyce & Joe Mauer

This is a regular series which attempts to combine my lifelong passion for trading cards with my semi-professional interest in celebrities.  Today, as the baseball season starts, I feature a baseball-hockey merging of sorts.

Matt Joyce was drafted and debuted for the Detroit Tigers.  The native of Tampa has played most of his games in his hometown though.  For his Celebrity Jersey Card, he kept his Rays #20.  Joyce is a Tampa favorite in any sport.

St. Paul native Joe Mauer is another multi-sport favorite.  The long-time Twin also wore his Twins #7 for his Wild jersey.  The tough Mauer probably played some hockey in his youth and certainly seems like he could be an NHL player.  He'll have to settle for being a member of the Wild on a Celebrity Jersey Card.
