Jake Roberts Snakes into Resistance Pro

I vividly remember seeing Jake "the Snake" Roberts on television for the first time about 30 years ago.  In a world of cartoon and larger-than-life characters, Roberts and his snake Damien, still stood out.
I was a bit too old, otherwise I am sure I would have found him scary.  He had a way of delivering his promos which was calm and chilling.  He was so good at being bad that the fans loved him and the WWF had to turn him into a good guy.
Jake has fought personal problems for most of his adult life.  Fortunately, Diamond Dallas Page offered to help out Roberts.  Roberts moved in with DDP and cleaned up.
Last year, Resistance Pro Wrestling brought in Roberts for a show.  It was a bit of a risk, but it paid off big time.  Roberts was great.  He signed autographs, posed for pictures and had a cool in-ring segment (sorry Eric St. Vaughn).
It was very cool to meet Roberts.  It was even cooler to see that he was back on the right track in life.  He is even being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this April.  Hopefully, he stays the course and enjoys a better life.
This is jut another example of the fun that can be had at R Pro.  They had the guts, wisdom and faith to bring in Roberts.  They know what the fans want an they deliver time and time again.
I have no idea who will be their celebrity guests in 2014, but I know they will be great ones and I know I will be featuring them right here in the future!
