This is a regular series which attempts to merge my lifelong passion for baseball cards with my semi-professional interest in celebrities. This one is tough, because I have to salute the Blackhawks, who were knocked out of the playoffs unfortunately. Thanks for a great effort though!
The versatile Jasmine Sanders was born in Germany (although some sources report it as South Carolina). Does it really matter? She once dated Chris Brown, but that ended a while ago. For her Celebrity Jersey Card, Sanders went with a new jersey with an old school look. No complaints from me on this one. I don't know of any Chicago connection, but when you look like her, that's all you need.
Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto was born in Hiroshima, Japan. His official Iron Chef record is 16-7-1. I love his Celebrity Jersey Card and all of its red glory. I don't know why he was chosen for the puck shooting intermission event. I don't think he has opened any restaurants in Chicago and I see no other connection. I guess when you cook like him, that's all you need (see how I tied these two together?).
