On the Beat with John Borowski at Days of the Dead 2014

At Days of the Dead, I cam across a very interesting independent filmmaker.  In 2004, John Borowski produced his first film, H.H. Holmes: America’s First Serial Killer.  His second film was Albert Fish: In Sin He Found Salvation and his third was Carl Panzram: The Spirit of Hatred and Vengeance.  Borowski is a rising star in the field of historical horror documentary films.
It takes a real talent to delve into this topic.  His films have been described as "disturbing" and "gruesome," but they are fascinating and engaging.  They are also thought-provoking and psychological.
In all honesty, I have not seen his films yet, but I definitely will.  I am very intrigued.  I love such projects.  Borowski is covering new and interesting ground.
I got a quick introductory interview with Borowski at Days.  I hope to get a more in-depth interview with him in the future.  Until then, check out my interview below and then go to JohnBorowski.com to learn more about him and his work.
