The Johngy's Beat-Justin's World of Softball joint coverage of the Chicago Bandits coverage continued with a recap of the first week on Tru School Sports at Chicago Bandits Off to a 5-1 Start. Today, we bring the coverage here with our interview with outfielder Emily Allard.
After a successful career at Northwestern, Emily is in her second year with the Bandits. She was the first player to sign for a return in 2015. Last year the speedster stole 7 bases and hit .385 as a rookie. She is off to a solid start this season.
As successful as Emily has been on the field, she is also doing great things off the field. Emily and Kristin 'Scharkey' Jensen created Be The Momentum, a slapping clinic for young softball players. You can feel Emily's passion for Be The Momentum as she discusses it.
It is always such a pleasure talking to Emily, but even more fun watching her play. Check out ChicagoBandits.com for ticket info and BeTheMomentumSoftball.com to learn more about Emily's other passion.
