Today, the Johngy's Beat and Justin's World of Softball joint coverage of the 2015 Chicago Bandits features 1st baseperson Brittany Cervantes. Today also happens to be Brittany's birthday and we would like to wish her a very happy birthday!
Brittany was actually the first player on the Bandits who we interviewed. I like to say that she is to blame for all that has followed, but actually I want to thank her for starting everything so well. Brittany is a real professional and a fun interview. In our interview below, we talked about her coaching, her hot start, her hockey allegiance(s) and more.
In her 4th year out of Kentucky, Brittany is off to the best start of her career. She is hitting near .400 with 3 home runs and 11 rbi's already. She is smoothly growing into the veteran star role on the team. We hope we have many more years of watching with pleasure as she leads the Bandits to success.
