Loren Coleman at Dark History Con 2015

I met some of the most interesting people at Dark History Con 2015.  One such person was American cryptozoologist Loren Coleman.  I am pretty sure he is the first cryptozoologist I have ever met.
Cryptozoology involves the search for animals whose existence has not been proven due to lack of evidence.  In simpler terms, cryptozoology focuses on gathering info about such creatures as Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster and other alleged creatures in existence.  I don't know how one becomes a cryptozoologist, but Coleman is one of the most notable cryptozoologists.
Actually, I have been fascinated with cryptozoology without really knowing that.  Ever since I saw "Big Foot" on The Six Million Dollar Man, I have wondered about the existence of it.  Then, I heard about the Loch Ness Monster.
Wondering about those creatures is a lot different than making a career out of studying them and searching for them.  This really blows my mind.
I am hoping that Coleman will be at Dark History Con 2016, but until then, we all can get updates and more info at LorenColeman.com.  I've been there many times and I often get lost in all of the fascinating things.  I am actually starting to understand cryptozoology thanks to Coleman.
