I'm a little upset with Chicago Bandits broadcaster Mike Knezevich. He lists his favorite broadcasters as Bob Costas, Wayne Larrivee, Tony Roberts, Ray Scott, Lloyd Pettit, Lindsey Nelson and Paul R. Condry. I don't see my name on that list. I did join the Bandits broadcast for half an inning last season.
Actually, without Mike's professional guidance, I probably would have stumbled aimlessly through the half inning. Thanks to Mike, I sounded okay and had a great time and a wonderful experience.
Mike is an award-winning broadcaster and was inducted into the Indiana Sportswriters & Sportscasters Association (ISSA) Hall of Fame. He has a lengthy broadcasting resume and is well-respected and liked.
He does a fantastic job on the Bandits broadcasts. I have admitted to being surprised by how much I enjoy watching the Bandits in person and on broadcasts. A big part of the broadcast is Mike, of course.
Opening Day is a month away and I cannot wait. I am itching to get back to the ballpark and to follow the team. I am also looking forward to catching them on tv when I can't make it in person. I am hoping for a little more action in the booth next season, if Mike will allow me the pleasure.
Mike is just another of the great people in the Bandits organization. Jump on the Bandits bandwagon now. It's never too early!
