Briana "Breezy" Hamilton is a two sport athlete. Already a competitor in the National Pro GRID League, Breezy joined the Akron Racers and the National Pro Fastpitch last season. She has done quite well at both and her careers are just beginning.
GRID is described at "professional team CrossFit." Breezy has "guns" and she knows how to use them. She also has the rest of a necessarilty fit body. On Breezy's Twitter profile, she states "I only wear muscle shirts. im a cross fit champ and i drop bombs."
I won't argue with her, but for the Racers, she wore actual sleeves and she hit bombs. In her two week tryout with the Racers, she hit .240 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI. That earned her a roster spot for the rest of last season.
I had the pleasure of watching and talking to Breezy when the Racers were in Chicago to play the Bandits. Despite a loss, Breezy took time to meet Bandits fans and me, too. She was a real class act. I hope she continues to play for the Racers and being a two sport threat!
