Sarah Pauly of the 2016 Akron Racers

Withe the Chicago Bandits having a series against the Akron Racers, I am featuring some of the Racers I have met over the years.  This just makes me more excited for the planned trip to Akron later this summer.
Sarah Pauly graduated from Texas A&M Corpus-Christi in 2005, where she had a 4 year record of 112-46.  You can read all of her NCAA accomplishments on the Sarah Pauly Wiki page.
In the NPF, she has pitched for the Connecticut Brakettes, Washington Glory, USSSA Pride, Pennsylvania Rebellion and Akron Racers.  He overall record is 100-58.
At 33, entering her 11th season of pro softball, questions of retirement start appearing.  I'm no pro scout, but I saw her pitch a couple times last season and she is still one of the best pitchers in the league.  I'm not trying to break up the Racers, but Pauly is currently a Assistant Coach at the Texas A&M Corpus-Christi, so maybe a move to one of the Texas teams might keep her in the league longer.
Sarah Pauly and me in Rosemont, IL-August 2015.
