Griffin Joiner of the 2016 Akron Racers

The Chicago Bandits start a three game series in Akron against the Racers and Johngy's Beat will be at the games.  Behind the plate will be Griffin Joiner, who is in her second season.
Joiner was selected by the Racers with the 19th pick in the 2015 NPF draft.  A product of the University of Kentucky, Joiner started every game of her collegiate career, including 245 games at catcher.  She ranked in the top 10 all-time in several single-season records at UK, including batting average, doubles, walks, home runs, slugging percentage, putouts and fielding percentage.  She also graduated with honors.
Joiner appears to have a bright future in the NPF.  I look forward to watching her career develop.
Check out for info and updates.  As always, I highly encourage you to check out a NPF game.  It's a great sport, played by dedicated athletes!
