Thea Trinidad at #SuperFriends Fan Fest 2016

Once again SuperFriend David Herro came through with a great lineup for one of his events.  At least year's Super Friends Fan Fest, wrestler Thea Trinidad was one of my reasons for going.
Years ago, I almost met Trinidad at a local wrestling show.  I was waiting to meet Svengoolie and Trinidad was done at her booth by the time I was free.  Those things happen sometimes, but I made sure to not miss her at the SuperFriends Fan Fest.
Trinidad lost her father in the horrible attack on 9/11.  Although her parents were divorced, Trinidad's mother created Always a Family, a short cartoon honoring her father, their lives and the events of that day.  Trinidad credits her father with being the inspiration for her to go into pro wrestling.  She also works with several charities.
Clearly, she is not just another pretty face or cookie-cutter diva.  Unfortunately, she has not found tremendous success in wrestling, but she is still young.  Either way, I think she will be fine.  I see bigger and better things in her future.
Thea Trinidad and me in Milwaukee, WI-May 2016.
