Caleb King at Wizard World Chicago 2017

Caleb King is a writer and illustrator from the Chicago area.  At Wizard World, his works caught my eye for their simplicity, yet beauty.
He has created a bunch of sketch cards for Topps, including Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last JediThe Walking Dead: Evolution, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and others.  He's also done a lot of awesome illustrations, including a series for the Harry Potter Universe.  I am not even a fan of Harry Potter, but I really liked his creations.  I also loved his version of Pennywise.
In addition to his fantastic artwork, he has written two comics (which were illustrated by Nicolas R. Giacondino).  Verse/Chorus focuses on the rock and roll scene of the late '80's/early '90's.
Surreality is a weekly web comic following Sydney, a mid-20's slacker who escapes her boredom by creating her own worlds.  Blurring the line between reality and fantasy, Surreality is both thought-provoking and entertaining.
I know an artist is special when I am not interested in a lot of his subjects, yet the pieces themselves fascinate me.  (Of course, if he did an Aquaman, it would both interest and fascinate me.)
Check out TheCalebKing.com for more info, lots of his work, his store, his appearances schedule and more.  You can also follow Caleb King Is Awesome on Facebook and Caleb King on twitter.  Also, check WizardWorld.com for their schedules and show lineups!
