C2E2 is coming back to Chicago March 22-24 and I cannot wait. As I type this looking forward to the event, I am sharing some of my favorite moments over the years at C2E2.
Dirk Manning is one of my all-time favorites on the comic con scene. I am also proud to call him a friend.
Dirk is the writer/creator of the "Tales of Mr. Rhee" comic series. Mr. Rhee has been described as tortured and conflicted. He also seems to see clearly in a world of trouble. He works to stop the "monsters and nasties" of the world, while navigating through life.
Among his other works is "Write Or Wrong," his inspirational guidance column. Aimed at comic book writers, it contains advice, tips, networking and more.
I also have to mention his interest in wrestling. Within my several interviews with Dirk, I usually squeeze in a little wrestling talk. Dirk is a knowledgeable fan with good insight and opinions.
Dirk has been announced as a creator guest for this year's C2E2. I'll definitely be spending time at his booth and encourage everyone to check out his work. You might also bring an ice cream cone for him.
