Wizard World comes to Tulsa, OK starting today and running through Sunday. Along with many celebrities, I have met so many talented creative folks, including authors, writers, artists and more. One such person is author Genese Davis.
I first met Genese at Wizard World several years ago. Her father was helping at her booth and we struck up a conversation with him. Since then, I have seen Genese a couple times and I have been following her career.
Genese is the author of The Holder's Dominion, a thrilling novel based in both the real world and a fantasy world. It starts with the death of Kaylie's father and her escape from the drama to college. It continues with the appearance of an old friend. Kaylie is then launched into a fantasy world which is threatened by a real world evil presence. It is an interesting balance of the two worlds. It really is a cool concept and one that Genese develops into a fascinating story start to finish.
Aside from being a talented writer and story-teller, Genese is a real sweetheart. She always has time for a chat, interview, promo or whatever else we ask. It's not just us either. She is great with all of her fans.
