Adam Burish at 2019 Chicago Auto Show

The Chicago Auto Show runs February 8-17 at McCormick Place on Chicago's lake shore. I will be "On the Beat" as always, but for now I am recalling some fun times over the years at the Chicago Auto Show.
Like Chris Chelios from yesterday's feature, Adam Burish played college hockey at the University of Wisconsin. He made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks. He played four seasons with the Hawks, winning a Stanley Cup in the 2009-'10 season. He also played for the Dallas Stars and the San Jose Sharks. He currently is an analyst for NBC Sports Chicago.
Nine years after winning the Cup, Burish appeared at the Chicago Auto Show and drew a huge line of fans, many of whom queued up several hours before his scheduled time to ensure they would meet him.
I talked to Burish about his Cup and the residual fandom it created. He will forever hold a place in the hearts of Chicago fans. He said there is no place like Chicago. He is grateful for the affection and he returns it. He also urged everyone to believe in the Hawks and stay on the bandwagon as they rebound from a down period.
