The Chicago Auto Show runs February 8-17 at McCormick Place on Chicago's lake shore. I will be "On the Beat" as always, but for now I am recalling some fun times over the years at the Chicago Auto Show.
Bionce Foxx is a television and radio personality, currently on V103 on I Heart Radio. Last year, she appeared at the Chicago Auto Show at the V103 booth, which was broadcasting live from the event.
The V103 folks and Bionce herself were very accommodating. I approached a staffer and asked to talk to Bionce during a break. He immediately waved Bionce over and she immediately came over. I didn't expect that quick of a response and I told them so.
Ever humble, Bionce fluffed off my compliment and talked about the lively vibe at the V103 booth and the Chicago Auto Show. I would have been happy with just a quick picture, because I saw how busy Bionce was, but she went above and beyond and talked to me for several minutes.
We talked about the difficulties of doing live remotes, but also how electric they can be. Having immediate fan reaction and interaction adds an interesting element to the show. Bionce was up for the challenge, easily engaging with all of the fans around the V103 booth.
