The Motor City Comic Con was supposed to be in May, but it has been postponed due to the pandemic. While I sadly wait for the situation to be resolved and the MCCC to be rescheduled, I am recalling some of my favorite times there.
Will Friedle is probably best known for his role as the older brother Eric on tv's Boy Meets World. As the series progressed, the Eric character got dumber, but Will enjoyed that direction. He said that nothing he did was wrong, because it was all perfect for Eric. He had a great attitude about the character and embraced it. He reprised his role on the spinoff Girl Meets World.
Will seemed to have a blast at MCCC. It was one of his first conventions and he enjoyed meeting his fans and seeing all of the other stuff happening.
I would meet Will many years later when he appeared with some of his Boy Meets World castmates. It was a reunion of the show, but it was also like a real class reunion. The gang was back together and having fun.

Good to see a name like this I recognize from my childhood. His character did get dumber, but also had some endearing moments too.
Agreed about his character. That seemed to happen a lot in shows as they stay around longer. At least, like you wrote, his character was endearing.
I later met Danielle and Ben and Will again and they were all great. They seemed to have a real affection for each other and a genuine appreciation for the fans.
