John Guerrini of Double Treble

John Guerrini started playing musical professionally while still in high school. Over the years, John has performed as a solo artist and in various bands, as front man or part of the ensemble. His talent and versatility allow him to perform in any sort of combination and at any type of venue or event.
One of his endeavors is Double Treble Dueling Pianos, with Robert Kramer. A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of experiencing a night of Dueling Pianos at Moretti's as we celebrated my friend Jim Strong's birthday. It was my first time hearing Double Treble and I was very impressed and entertained. I wrote more about the night at Double Treble at Moretti's for Global Traveler.
Double Treble features John and Robert playing tunes from all sorts of music genres, from the Beatles to Vanilla Ice. They also mix in some original music and humor. Their sets not only encourage clapping and singing along, it almost demands it. The end result is pure entertainment.
I also learned that John formed his own band, Knievel's Daredevil Band, featuring Krysten Knievel, the granddaughter of the legendary daredevil, Evel Knievel, and daughter of world-renowned Kaptain Robbie Knievel, center stage on vocals. I'm looking forward to seeing them perform in the future.
