Sammy Terry is a horror host based in Indianapolis, IN. The character was originated in 1962 by Bob Carter and followed by Mark Carter in 2010.
Barry Crawford might be better known as Barry the Clay Guy. As you can guess from the picture, Barry makes clay figures. Over the last 30 or so years, Barry has made more many figures of famous characters and people.
His site features more than 250 figures available for purchase. Each is an exact plastic duplicate of his original figure. All are hand-painted and come with a name plate and base. I have seen his work up close many times and it is amazing.
Barry presented a Sammy Terry figure to the horror host recently. I would have liked to see Sammy's initial reaction. I love the picture, but I imagine the actual first response would be of wonder. I know if Barry made a Johngy figure, I would be blown away. I can dream!
