Emmy Award winning storyboard artist, director, designer, animator and comic book artist John Delaney has more 20 years of experience. He has worked for MGM, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers, Hanna-Barbera, Disney and many others. For more than 17 years, he has done freelance work for DC Comics. John also does commissions.
I love John's twitter opening statement. "Artist looking 4 his spot on the canvas of life while avoiding the things that cre8 an abstract existence." That's a true artist sentiment.
At Wizard World Chicago 2021, I talked a bit about comic cons and art with Delaney. We lamented the end of Wizard World, but look forward to it living on in Fan Expo, which acquired Wizard World shortly before this convention.
Fan Expo has already announced several events for 2022, including Fan Expo Chicago July 7-10. I will be "On the Beat" for the first Chicago show.
