Friend Encounters is a weekly series featuring friends who have met celebrities.
A couple years back, my buddy Jim and I went to see Tiffany perform. The former teenage pop star can still belt out a great tune. It was a really good show.
Tiffany's opening act was a Ali Morgan, a young singer, much like Tiffany was back in the day. Morgan really impressed us with her singing, guitar playing and her stage presence. She could easily be the main act any day now.
After her show, Morgan met fans to sell her msuic and pictures. She was as sweet and personable as she was talented. It was a real pleasure meeting her and getting exposed to her music. I have since picked up more of her music and look forward to watching her career develop.
As for Jim, it's always fun whether we're watching softball, rollerderby, wrestling or anything else. Aside from his love of the Cincinnati Reds, he's an okay guy and a good friend.
