Paloma Starr, The First BCW Woman's Champ!

A couple weeks ago, I caught up with Paloma Starr, a wrestler I met many years ago at Resistance Pro. Aside from a great reunion, I witnessed Paloma become the first Brew City Wrestling Woman's Champ.
Paloma entered RPro winning the Sam Thompson Memorial Tournament. After that, Paloma was a mainstay in RPro, challenging for the Women's title, being a part of Lockup under the iron fist of Warden Myers and also joining me as the "Chica On the Beat." As good as she was oin the ring, she was possibly even better as an interviewer. She had the knowledge and personality to be excellent at both.
RPro eventually faded away, but Paloma has excelled on the independent wrestling scene. She has wrestled n many companies, winning titles and gaining fans.
My buddy Tony Feddeler and I went to Brew City Wrestling in Waukesha for the first time. BCW was holding an eight-woman tournament to crowned the first ever Woman's champ. With agent to the stars Chazz Moretti leading her to the ring, Paloma won the tourney and gained the shiny new belt.
Unfortunately for Paloma, the next night, Brooke Tanner beat her for the belt. Brooke's title win doesn't take away from Paloma's big win the previous night. Actually, congrats to both women and all the women in the tourney, for putting on excellent matches.
It was wondeful seeing Paloma again. Coincidentally, it was one year and a day from he previous time I saw her. She was signing a comic book featuring her. How cool is that? Paloma really is the best. She's a total sweetheart and great in and out of the ring.
Check out Paloma on social media to get her latest info and scheduled appearances. Also go to BrewCityWrestling.com for more news on that company. It was our first time at BCW, but it won't be our last.
Paloma Starr and me in Waukesha, WI-June 2023.
