Flashback Weekend, August 4-6, is less than a month away. Once again, I will be "On the Beat" for a fantastic weekend at the longest-running horror con in Chicago.
A couple years ago, I met Carla Harvey, singer, songwriter, musician, author, artist, actress, and model. Harvey was an entertainment reporter for the Playboy channel, appeared in several television shows and even published Butcher Babes, a comic book and also the name of her music band.
This year, Flashback Weekend features a Scream reunion, with Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan, Jamie Kennedy, Lee Waddell and Holly Marie Combs. Others in the jam-packed celebrity lineup include Kane Hodder, Alex Vincent, Chicago's very own Svengoolie and many more. There will be panels, Q&A's, screenings, photo ops, special events and other fun all weekend.
I have been going to Flashback Weekend for many years and it is a staple on my convention calendar.
