Celebrity Jersey Cards #666 Steve Miller & Guy Hebert

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Based on the number in the title, I might have gone with cards of the New Jersey Devils, but I played it safe.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, musician Steve Miller has entertained fans for more than 60 years. Although he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, it was not a pleasant experience for him. He criticized the HOF for many things, including not respecting the inductees. Among his complaints, he wanted Elton John to induct him, while the HOF selected the Black Keys. Longtime fans of his, the members of the Black Keys later regretted the experience.

New York native Guy Hebert enjoyed 10 seasons in the NHL. The goaltender started with the St. Louis Blues after being selected in the eighth round of the 1987 Entry Draft.. After two seasons, he was claimed in the Expansion Draft by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. In his eighth season with Anaheim, he was claimed off waivers by his home state New York Rangers. All told, he played 491 games in the NHL.
