Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Today I continue marching alphabetically through all MLB teams.
Born in Baltimore, Michael Phelps grew up to become the most successful and most decorated Olympian ever, winning a total of 28 medals. Proving he is only human, Phelps admitted he struggled with ADHD and depression, having contemplated suicide at one point. Fortunately, Phels seemingly is doing well. While the medals were cool, I am sure he would be excited to know he now has a Celebrity Jersey Card from his ceremonial pitch for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
A native of Phoenix, Jade Carey gained fame as an American artistic gymnast. She won a gold medal in the 2020 Olympics and several other medals at various international events. Carey wowed the crowd with an amazing flip and pitch for the Diamondbacks to earn her Celebrity Jersey Card She wore #20, most notably worn by Luis Gonzalez, but also worn by Jeff Suppan.
