Celebrity Jersey Cards #699 Natasha Cloud & Carli Lloyd

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing jerseys. Today, I start a season-long march alphabetically through all MLB teams.

After an outstanding college career at Maryland and St. Joseph's, Natasha Cloud was selected by the Washington Mystics in 2nd round of the 2015 WNBA draft. After eight seasons with the Mystics, Cloud moved on to the Phoenix Mercury. Cloud was once married to professional softball player Aleshia Ocasio. Cloud earned her Celebrity Jersey Card tossing a ceremonial pitch. Perhaps Ocasio helped her with her form. Her connection to the Philadelphia area comes from her collegiate career and her native Broomall, Pennsylvania.

Born in New Jersey, Carli Lloyd went on to a legendary soccer career. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion, two-time FIFA Player of the Year, and a four-time Olympian. She starred at Rutgers and with many professional teams. Lloyd tossed a ceremonial pitch for the Philadelphia Phillies to earn her Celebrity Jersey Card. Lloyd seems to be a legit fan, as I have seen a few pictures of her wearing Phillies gear. I chose the cool throwback jersey to use for her card.
