Celebrity Jersey Cards #702 Jane Castor & Rick Scott

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing jerseys. Today, I continue a season-long march alphabetically through all MLB teams.

Tampa native Jane Castor went from Chief of Police to Mayor of Tampa. She is the first openly gay person to serve in both capacities. Seemingly sharing my love of mascots, Castor posed with Stinger of the Tampa Rays for her Celebrity Jersey Card.

Born in Bloomington, Illinois, Rick Scott has been the junior United States senator from Florida since 2019 and was the 45th governor of Florida from 2011 to 2019. He also served in the United States Navy 1971-74. We know he is used to making political pitches, but it was his Ceremonial First Pitch that earned him a Celebrity Jersey Card.
