Mascot Spotlight: Wintrust Buck

A mascot I just discovered early in 2022 was Buck, mascot of Wintrust Arena. An arena having a mascot is very interesting and somewhat odd. I would think most events at Wintrust involve teams, who have their own mascots. I suppose there are corporate events which could use some mascot fun. Doesn't every event need mascot fun?

I first saw Buck at a DePaul women's basketball game celebrating the birthday of DIBS. I got pics with all of the mascots that day (no surprise), but didn't recognize Buck. I had to wait for the halftime introductions to learn Buck was Wintrust's mascot.
