My latest Talking Travel interview is with travel journalist and founder of Girl About the Globe Lisa Eldridge. A true force in the travel industry, Lisa does great work for solo travelers, especially women solo travelers.
I made a point of bringing up men in our interview. Despite Eldridge focusing more on women, there are plenty of interesting things on her site for men, too. It's also good for men to get a better understanding of what women solo travelers can face. Much like earlier Talking Travel interview guest Barb Jordan,, her main target audience is women, but the information she delivers is useful to all.
Either way, Eldridge has impacted travel and travel has impacted her. She's on a mission to visit every country, something she never envisioned as a youngster. Like many others, Eldridge turned to travel during a rough period in her life. Eldridge just kept diving more into travel.
