Hurricane Helms and Santino Marella at C2E2 2020

Today's feature is bittersweet. It is one of the last pictures (maybe the last one) I took at C2E2 2020, which was the last event I attended before the pandemic hit. It represents great times, but also time lost.
While I totally enjoy being "On the Beat" at any of these events, one of the coolest parts is having friends join me for fun moments like meeting "The Hurricane" Shane Helms and Santino Marella. This is just one of many such pictures from C2E2 2020. I think I had more pics with friends than ever at this event.
I'm always happy to include my friends, especially because they have helped me in various ways in this endeavor over the years. Both Tony Feddeler and Jim Strong have done camera and video duty for me at wrestling, softball and comic cons. I appreciate that and their friendship, of course. I'm happy to be able to get them in the pictures when possible.
The two wrestlers here had interesting careers. The Hurricane and Marella were talented wrestlers, but mostly used in comic roles. They did shine in those roles, gaining tremendous popularity, but it would have been nice to see them get a more serious role in the WWE.
Hopefully soon, moments like these will happen again. Until then, I will remember the good times and look forward to more.
C2E2 2021 happens December 10-12. Check C2E2.com for more info and updates.
