An Evening of Comedy with Rowdy Roddy Piper-Part 1

I was excited when I heard that Rowdy Roddy Piper would be appearing at the Days of the Dead convention.  Then I heard he would be doing comedy at the hotel bar when the convention ended for Friday.  Piper doing comedy?  Oh this I had to catch.
Piper is a funny guy.  His wrestling promos were some of the best and funniest promos ever.  His skits were hilarious.  The man is a natural.  Still, I didn't know what to expect from his comedy act.
The show was originally scheduled to begin at 11 p.m., with a packed house of 100.  The show was delayed as that number swelled probably closer to 150.  Fortunately, we arrived early and Cuzz Gekas worked some magic and got us excellent seats.
When Roddy was announced, the small club rocked.  The bagpipes hit to thunderous applause as Roddy made his way to the stage.  You'll also notice Piper's son Colt accompanying him and then standing right in front of us.  Before the performance actually started, Colt settled into a spot next to Cuzz.
Below is the clip of the entrance (to give you an idea of the atmosphere).  Tomorrow, I will feature a bit of Piper's act (to give you an idea of his humor).
