On the Beat with Kurt Dinse at Days of the Dead 2012

I always seek out interesting artists and illustrators at the various conventions I cover.  At the Days of the Dead con in Chicago, I interviewed artist Kurt Dinse.
Kurt has some intricate artwork.  A lot of his subjects are horror-related, but he also has strayed from that genre, such as a beautiful portrait of Peter Criss of KISS.  This just shows his versatility and talent.
One of his most recent projects involved zombie-fying the Blackhawks logo.  He also said he is working on doing the same with the Bulls and Bears logos.  (What about zombie-fying the Johngy logo?).
Dinse is a talented and personable guy.  I like his work and I look forward to seeing him at future conventions.
