On the Beat With Chicago Bandits Manager Mike Steuerwald 2016

I am very excited to be back on the Beat with the Chicago Bandits.  I love this organization and I totally enjoy these games.
The 2015 National Pro Fastpitch champions started their title defense with a three game series against the expansion Scrap Yard Dawgs (of The Woodlands, near Houston).  The Bandits started with a three game sweep!
Prior to the second game, we sat down with Manager Mike Steuerwald (aka Coach Stu).  We talked about last year's championship, the loss of three veterans (Tammy Williams, Amber Patton and Monica Abbott), the gelling of this year's team, "Coach's Corner" and more.
On the field and off, Coach Stu and the entire organization are doing great things.  Coach's Corner is a wonderful program to get tickets to underprivileged youth.  It's just one way that the Bandits reach out to teh community.
Covering the Bandits has been wawesome and I look forward to another fantastic season.  Even if I wasn't reporting on the Bandits, I'd be out there supporting the team.  I continue to get my friends to the games and they always want to come back!
After you listen to the interview, head over to ChicagoBandits.com for more info and the  schedule.  I hope to see you at the Ballpark in Rosemont!  I'll be there quite often and I'll be reporting back here.
