Today, I continue my coverage of Wizard World Chicago with author Dr. Travis Langley. This was my first time meeting Dr. Langley.
While researching the guest list at Wizard World, I came across Dr. Langley and was intrigued. His focus on the psychology of Batman, The Joker and more in his books is a really great and fresh angle. As a Professor of Psychology at Henderson State University, Dr. Langley brings a wealth of knowledge to the subject. The combination of psychology and comics produces entertaining and informative results.
I meet a lot of authors at conventions. I write about my favorite ones and ones I think my readers will enjoy. TI'm a newcomer t the work of Dr. Langley, but I will be diving into his books soon. I haven't been this excited about discovering an author in a while.
Once again, Joey Roth joined the Johngy's Beat crew to interview Dr. Langley. In the interview, Dr. Langley discussed his writing process during the pandemic, using the field of psychology to look at comics and more.
