Hey Paisano!

John Cangelosi played 13 seasons in the major leagues as an outfielder. He played for the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, Houston Astros, Florida Marlins and Colorado Rockies. He was a member of the Marlins in 1997 when they won the World Series. He was #2 in steals in the American League in 1986. He also pitched in 3 games during his career.
Despite these accomplishments, Cangelosi's biggest feat was having 2 separate major league careers simultaneously (for the most part). Yes, I am stating that John Cangelosi and Doug Dascenzo are, in fact, the same person!
Cangelosi started out strong with the White Sox, but after he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates, his playing time dwindled. Magically, "Doug Dascenzo" appeared on the Cubs roster. The ruse worked pretty well, but I was onto him/them from the start!

Hmmm..interesting conspirary theory.

I think I dated Cangelosi. Wait, I knew a Ross Cangelosi...or maybe it was really him pretending to be Ross or maybe it was Dascenzo!

My head is .....spinning right now.

Cangelosi was one of my fevorite players. Dascenzo must've been his evil, less talented twin.
