Charles Fleischer had a recurring role on tv's Welcome Back Kotter. Fleischer, as Killer Carvelli, was part of the non-Sweathogs group. He has gone on to other roles and a lot of voice work. I met him at the Hollywood Collectors Show earlier this year. He is one genuinely funny guy. His quick wit had many laughing hard. He jumped back and forth from sarcastic and edgy to warm and inviting. He laughed hard when I mentioned that I remember him from his Carvelli days. I seem to have a habit of remembering the offbeat roles.
